Alice Valentina Bigacompleted a BA degree in Fine Arts at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, 2010, where she discovered most of the printmaking techniques she uses today. Etching is the technique she experiments with most, and which she uses to investigate the theme of the necessity of memory in relation to death. In September 2012 her work has been awarded by East London Printmakers at the Postgraduate Show at Camberwell College of Arts, where she completed her MA degree in Printmaking. Simultaneously she exhibited at the Mall Galleries as part of Bite: Artists making prints. Since then her work has been shown in various group exhibitons, Loop 2013,  and subject of collaboration with different kind of media (3d mapping of "Heart Space", by L.ace collective). She is currently a part-time technician at London Print Studio where she also teaches to groups and individuals.
