Fiona de Bulat
Fiona de Bulat trained at Chelsea School of Art followed by MA Fine Art Printmaking at Camberwell College of Arts. De Bulet currently works as an artist-printmaker, lecturer and co-founder of a print studio.
“I continue to actively research new processes in printmaking combining traditional and contemporary techniques within my practice and through workshop delivery within Higher education and to individuals. Specialisms within printmaking include Stone Lithography, Etching and Relief printing combined with Large scale Mono printing.
Personal practice explores themes related to the memory of places past forgotten and absent from current experience. In order to retain the memory and reconnect with these past experiences , source material both primary and secondary is gathered, exploring the sensations of colour mark making and multilayered imagery which are then embedded into the work through experimentation and integration of collage and printed material.
