The current artists work is about place, time and sensation. The work reflects how the artist perceives and interacts with their daily surroundings and how these interactions become a form and expression of place, time and sensation within the medium of etching. These daily interactions can move from the mundane to the sublime and what the artist is expressing in the work is the outcome of these perceptions. Some components are entirely recognisable but other components exist to be a form, an expression, a feeling. During the past few years the artist has worked with a focus on etching and they find the process of making and constructing imagery within a very loose set of process bound steps results in the outcomes they are aiming to achieve.
