These etchings from Oscar Eaton’s ‘In-Situ’ series study man’s obsession with the exploration of geographical frontiers and our physical connection with nature in such extremes.

They focus on Britain’s great age of exploration at the beginning of the 20th Century - Scott’s Terra Nova expedition 1911-1912, Shackleton’s Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1914-1917 and The British Mount Everest Expeditions 1921-1924.

Oscar Eaton is a printmaker and visual artist based in London.
