Stephen Hoskins

Stephen Hoskins studied at Southampton College of Art, West Surrey College of Art and the Royal College of Art. He is an academician of the RWA, Bristol and past Vice President of the RE. Hoskims is currently Professor of Fine Print at the Centre for Fine Print Research, UWE Bristol. An award winning Printmaker and Researcher he has held several residencies and been awarded many research grants.

Print is at the heart of Hoskin’s practice along with a love of craft skills and pushing the boundaries of the medium, both in two and three dimensions. He is known for investigating new technology alongside historic process and has been making works based upon mathematics and flight for most of his professional life

He has work is held in many in public collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tate Gallery and Private collections such as Microsoft and Lloyds TSB.
