Victoria Edwards is a multi-disciplinary fine artist based in London working primarily with intaglio printmaking. Her work has its root in female narratives, poetry and myth making. Working on copper plates using sugar-lift, aquatint, drypoint and etching, her interest lies in transience rather than repetition thus the works are often unique or in a very limited edition. She works across a range of mediums including etching, drawing, painting, making small objects and artists' books.
Work is held in the V&A, Slade School and various national and international private collections.
Education: Norwich School of Art. Central St Martin's College of Art and Design - BA(Hons) Fine Art Printmaking. Slade School of Fine Art - Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art Printmaking. Victoria is a member of East London Printmakers
